Just after using it twice we saw she had cut the tip of her finger very badly; upon closer inspection we noticed a small metal bur on one of the rivets holding the handle onto the pot. We polished it smooth and expect this quality control issue was not usual, but out of concern we did reach out to Melissa and Doug through their website to notify them.</span>
