They both absolutely enjoy playing with them. He loves building towers and knocking them over! His older brother even likes to use the blocks with him. These have given us hours of fun already. We really love this quality of these blocks. My kids love them, especially my 2 year old. They are so easy for her to use. She can build and take them apart on her own without needing help which I love! I also love that the tub stays closed but its still easy enough that they can get it open on their own. The colors are bright and fun. Overall these block are awesome. However, my 7 yo and I had tons of fun with the Bulk Tub (small). Right away, we were disappointed that the cover to the tub is not secured and only sits on top of the tub. This was because the 2 yo tipped the bucket over, just to make the noise. But later, after that fun wore off- it has been nice, so he can initiate independent play. This tub was very fun for the little guy. He played dump out the bucket, stack the blocks tall and knock them over. He also like to assist daddy in making random creations. The most interesting thing about this purchase, is that my daughter (7 yo) and I (dad) ended up playing Skateboard and skateboard park. This was by far the longest continuous use of the Mega Blocks Tub. We made Skateboards and people to ride them, then jumps and ramps and rails to do Skateboard tricks.
