Since getting the Hammer that has stepped up a bit. The hammer is well built and has numerous sound effects that are built in as well. It lights up and makes lightning noises when you hit it. It has a soft material on each side that is a cushion in case it hits someone. My boys are rough so any toy with a cushion or is soft is fine with me. Between the kids and myself we are all having fun playing with Molnir. I honestly think I play with it more than the kids, hence why my wife calls me a big kid. My daughter has really gotten into the spirit always trying to play with it before her little brother. The sound FX make it a great experience, giving you the feeling of being jist like Thor. All hours of the day i can hear the kids playing and running through the house swinging Thor's mighty hammer. The ease of use and sturdiness is also a plus for parents.
