This is his favorite toy! He likes that it makes the noise and you pretend to fight zombies. It makes the sounds as if you're really fighting with it. It's made well because my son has dropped it more than a few times. It has some weight to it, might hurt a small child if they got hit by it. The staff makes fun sounds, my kids like that. What they don&rsquo;t like is the music is so loud. There is no way, that we have found, to turn volume down. Although we have not seen the movie, she enjoys being a &quot;superhero&quot; and warding off &quot;bad guys&quot;. The staff makes different sounds and effects depending on how you use it, for example, if you moves it slow it makes softer effects compared to loud when it's moved fast. The sound effects on the staff are relatively softer than the music (so those are harder to hear at times). I love how it gets her moving and that it can be used inside or out! It is not too heavy and easy to hold, even for my 5 year old. It makes sounds, plays a tune and the more you move with it the more noises it does. Even the adults were playing with it. Its nice to have a toy that helps a child exercising without them knowing they are doing it. The staff is a nice size and does seem super sturdy.
