We had a great time making designs with the sand. All the parts are small so be sure to focus on getting the sand in the container with the funnel or it may get everywhere. There were three designs in the kit and she gave the third one to her best friend. They both enjoyed making the jewelry and wearing their necklaces. The biggest issue was that the kit came with enough material to do 3 necklaces, so they decided to work together and gift that necklace to a mutual friend. I don't think they realized the sand could glow. We will have to check that out! She had a blast doing it with her best friend. She even wore her necklace to virtual school to show it off. It was a dad win in my book. The sand can be a little messy but I had the girls do it on the porch. They were so much fun to make. I loved the colors of sand that were included. Each necklace also came with an attachable small charm, which I thought, was a nice finishing touch.
