She loved it. She had fun opening each little compartment to see what she got. We also have a 2 year old in the house and there are lots of little pieces so be careful. It was a challenge a little bit to put it together. But it was super cute and overall happy with it. Lots of little pieces, fun and colorful. It took some time to get things done. For that effort this is a great product. It's clear that the designers really thought through a fun way to slowly reveal these products and keep kids attention in making them. It says 8+ on the box and I'd advise parents to help, even at that age. My three children (ages 3-8) tore into the box and didn't follow the instructions that would have made this even more fun. I wouldn't knock this product for that, but you should know that parent oversight in opening the packaging is critical to the fun of the experience. The colors are fun, the parts and pieces are well organized. Where the set failed us is in the detailing of the hardware. They are painted or coated plastic pieces that broke during assembly, even with parent support. Our children still enjoyed the process of opening and assembly even though we had clasps and joinery pieces break. It's a great surprise experience. I'd give this 5 stars for idea and creative efforts. Everything comes in little packages that can't be seen through. Your child will not know what colors of beads they will get until they start opening g all of the little containers. The box that they come in has special directions that you follow to open it so the treasure box inside pops open. The whole thing is pretty fun. The actual beads and charms were nice quality and when the necklace and bracelet was put together they looked great.
