My daughters loved the theme. The colors are vibrant and fun. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The set was super easy to put together and my 7 year old was able to do it all on her own. Each build was in its own bag and made it easy to keep pieces together while constructing. The pieces fit together easily and snug. The colors are bright with that iconic Barbie pink! The character and horses are a great size to hold onto and play with. She loved that she was able to build it like she wanted. She loves anything horse related and enjoyed making the horse jump. She liked that it was smaller she brought it to grandmas house and it was easy to put in a ziplock bag and re make it. She didn&rsquo;t need instructions. They love Barbie and they love building with brick sets. This is the perfect toy for them. As soon as we opened the box they were excited to put it all together, while playing along the way, their usual style. I asked them if they liked it more than their usual sets, and they said yes. They also felt it was easier to build, especially following the instructions. From a parent&rsquo;s perspective, I think this is a really good alternative to other brick building toys. Although the pieces didn&rsquo;t fit together as tightly, they were easier for the girls to put together and take apart. The movement of the horse is a fun feature and the little figure is cute and easy to put together. All the extra accessories are great too. And they loved the smiley face in the fence and the Barbie logo on the food box. I also think the directions are really great. We do a lot of big builds for kids (8+ and up) and the these directions are laid out very nicely. Super easy to follow. And the addition of the colored posts where the next brink goes is an excellent feature. I did have to help with a few steps and help with the instructions. She loves that there is a mommy horse and a baby horse with little play areas and a little girl with a skirt and necklace (nice little add-ons). She plays with the horses jumping over the hurdle and then goes over to get a ribbon. Afterwards they head over to get a drink and eat some apples or get pretend brushed with the little brush.
