Both my almost four year old and my eight year old have loved bowling with it. It is easy for both kids to reset the pins. This bowling toy resets itself with a push of a button! My boys can now play without me needing to be right next to them. The button can be kind of finicky though. The overall size of the toy was smaller than I expected, which can make it hard for my youngest (3 years) to hit any pins.
