It is a neat idea to push the stem and it changes the shapes, it makes it more challenging which it is good. There is no sounds or music so it makes a great quiet time toy. However, the “door” that holds the shapes in the apple easily falls off and I’m constantly having to put it back together. Also, I think this toy is a little more complex than the age range listed. Not only do they have to find the right shapes, but they have to press the top until they find the right set. I’d recommend for at least 3 years and older.</span>
