My grandchildren, ages 7 & 9, loved looking at the slides that came with it. The slides not only show picture of insects etc, they wrote detail about the pictures. An additional bonus that my grandchildren had a great time with was finding things they could look at under the microscope. They looked at a piece of paper, a pistachio nut shell, and a piece of material to name a few. Kids can not only have fun with this product but really learn from it.</span>
