He's had Mario Lego sets since they first launched. He always enjoys building Lego set, but doesn't often play with them. He had a blast building this one and said it's his favorite Lego Mario set so far. Our favorite part is the plane. It's so interactive, and triggers a lot of different sounds as you fly it around. The only thing we didn't like is that the mine cart doesn't stay on the track well. You can't loosely hold and push, but more barely glide over the track. I'm so glad I did. Not only did they love it but I did too. It was so much fun to put together. It reminded me a lot of when I was little and played Donkey Kong! You will need the starter set to have interactive play but if you have that then you are all set. My boys have played with this for hours. My family had so much fun building this Lego set. We each took a different section to build and then we attached them all together. This is a great, fun to make Lego set. My husband told the kids that this set reminded him of the Diddy Kong games. Some of us shared the instruction booklet and some of us used the app that was online. it&rsquo;s great to have it online in case you misplace the booklet. My kids have already asked us to buy them any other Legos that can be added to this set.
