The only downside is that it did not come with any of the stickers. This is the 2nd set that I have purchased that the stickers were missing. Disappointed in Lego quality control.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We are big fans of the Chinese Lunar New Year theme, we own every set in the theme. This particular set doesn't have the same level of stability and sturdiness in the final build. Parts were barely hanging on by 2 studs and fall apart as soon as you try to place a minifigure. Compared to the Spring Lantern Festival in the same theme that had two base plates joined together, we could still move that set around without it falling apart. This set has smaller footprint yet nowhere near the stability. This set has been a very different Lego building and play experience, and not in a better sense.</span>

Instructions were easy to follow and having parts separated into stages was very helpful. Box says it is recommended for ages 9 and up, but with over 1,000 pieces (lots of very small parts), numerous repetitive patterns, and sometimes delicate assembly, this kit might easily overwhelm a kid working on it alone. This project is best for older children, teens, and adults. The light inside is a great idea but is only in one small part of the lantern and doesn’t project light throughout. Would’ve been 5 stars if the light went all the way through /around the lantern. Overall, a great LEGO kit.</span>
