Straight out of the box, there are numbered bags matching different sections of the instructions, so that made things a little simpler than it would have been if all pieces were mixed together. The instructions were easy to follow, but there are a lot of pieces and a lot of details, so it kept him busy for quite some time. He also enjoyed playing with it once it was put together – Sonic really goes around the loop! Such a fun Lego set!</span>
