This is a great Lego set! My youngest two children are currently working on it. They love anything that they have to focus intently on, Legos, Puzzles, etc. So this was a great addition for them. In true Lego fashion, it's been fun for them to put together and it's holding together great. I know that Legos are a bit expensive but I think the time someone spends really putting thought into the build and time spent bonding when building it together with someone(along with having it on display after), makes it well worth it. Despite its visually appealing appearance, the dragon's inability to stand on its own legs and constant piece detachment, especially when attempting to reposition it for display, left me frustrated. While it may look impressive, its lack of durability and functionality ultimately disappointed. For a safer investment, I recommend sticking with LEGO Technic or Star Wars sets.
