The girls had heard about new LEGO that included differently abled characters and they were excited that they would be among the first kids to see/test the LEGO. The fact that the pack may contain different characters than the normal started some interesting conversations while we built the centre. The girls wondered why &quot;all&quot; people (from differently abled to LGBTQIA+ and others) hadn't been included a long time ago. They loved the bright colours and both commented on the flooring saying that it was nothing like other pieces they have seen before in LEGO. However, once we started building it together, I realized my fears were unfounded! She could build it herself with some guidance and we found it wonderfully addictive and satisfying!! The instructions are so clear and the pieces colorful. I also love that the instructions and lego pieces have been split across multiple books and bags, providing numerous goalposts to celebrate an accomplishment or to pause for a break. She especially loves role playing with the 6 LEGO Friends characters and frequently squeals, &ldquo;This is so much fun, I love it!&rdquo; as she is building. I have never seen her interact with Lego with as much enthusiasm and passion. This Lego set is so amazing in encouraging dexterity of her hands in manipulating the small pieces, improving her logic, focus, patience and perseverance! Really fun to build, and is absolutely amazing for kids to engage in imaginative play. I love it as a 30 year old, and my daughter daughter is 7 and loves it as well!! It may say recommend for ages 9+, but in reality, it's great for all ages!! Added bonus is you don't have to keep the levels in the same order as the build instructions. You can separate them as complete levels and put them in any order you want. Or even separating them while playing, giving the kids even more freedom to use their imaginations. I would absolutely recommend this set to everyone looking at getting a Lego set. The Heartlake City Community Centre set looks fantastic and is taller than expected but very sturdy. It&rsquo;s extremely colourful and packed full of intricate details. My 6 year old daughter and I didn&rsquo;t find this difficult to build but there are lots of small pieces. The levels of the building can be rearranged so kids can tailor their build, fostering their imagination! Got to love a modular set! The interior furniture is amazing - music room, art studio, chill-out zone etc with art, sewing, music, gardening and gaming accessories. There are 6 mini-dolls, Pickle the dog and other accessories. This set is also compatible with the Community Kitchen set. The only negative is that the set is quite expensive, but I think the hours of endless playtime kids can get with this combined with the high quality is worth it. Overall, a fantastic, creative set where kids can act out endless adventures.
