I knew I was only getting half a pyramid, but honestly, what sold me on this set was all of the detail around it. I probably would not have purchased it for a full pyramid without the setting, and I think the price point is decent (versus the additional cost if Lego went with the full pyramid and the surrounding detail). The only thing I disagree with is the idea of buying a second set to get the full pyramid. It just doesn't make sense because the duplicated features don't make sense. That being said, if Lego came out with a complimentary model that completed this pyramid and added more to the surrounding area, I would absolutely buy it.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-08-10</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-08-10" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1123558952"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Gershon613</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Astonishing Model</span> <span itemprop="description">This is an astonishingly build -- I am so impressed with the detailed chambers, passageways and attempts to explain the original Egyptian build process. Half a pyramid? No problem -- we can see everything. And for those who don't like having to choose between English and Hieroglyphic nameplates, all one has to do is to put a plain black edge piece in the middle and place the two nameplates to either side. Perhaps the most beautiful architecture model to date.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-08-09</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-08-09" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1123553350"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Thomas</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Could have been better</span> <span itemprop="description">I really like this set, however, it was a disappointing build. Half of the build time was spent on the scenery (river, trees, workers' village). I liked how the pyramid had the outer casing and cross-section model. I also liked the custom hieroglyphic plate, however, I did not like that it was interchangeable with the English plate. I modified it so that the English and hieroglyphic plates could both fit on the model. There are over 50 trees, over 10 river plants, 11 workers' houses, 3 simplistic sphinxes (not sure why there are three), 2 mortuary temples, 2 boats, 2 small pyramids each with a sarcophagus, and 1 obelisk. I would have preferred less detailed scenery and a few more custom pieces, such as Khufu's sarcophagus and/or Sphinx. Please note the &quot;sarcophagus&quot; included was a dark grey ingot piece (6331866) and dark grey 1x2 plate (4211063). Lastly, as others have pointed out this set only has half a pyramid. So, if you want to build a complete pyramid, you need to buy two sets. It would be nice if you could buy just the pyramid without the scenery.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-08-09</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-08-09" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1123469561"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Mika</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Very cool layers to this build</span> <span itemprop="description">Upon completion the pyramid was too deep for the shelves on which the other Architecture pieces are displayed. So, I redesigned the riverbank to pull about 2&quot; off without redoing the whole thing or adding more bricks. The mortuary temple and boats became a stand-alone piece. The friends I shared the build progress with thought the layers of 'in progress', 'complete' and 'what's inside' were a very cool way to add depth to the build.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-08-08</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-08-08" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1123418977"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Chrissoepic</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Love it</span> <span itemprop="description">As someone who loves Egyptian Mythology, artifacts and Museum exhibits.
