I&rsquo;d say the only people that have a negative outlook on the book are those that either aren&rsquo;t ready or can&rsquo;t approach a topic just yet with their kids on racism. However, this is not at all age appropriate for my 3 year old. The writing style and language is not kid friendly and it&rsquo;s very politics heavy. After reading this, I had to pass it off to my wife to get her opinion; we both agreed Kendi has some of his own clear personal biases that I don't need passed on to my kids. Book is built well and illustrations are done well.
