I got the toy for my son, but we all took turns recording with the dinosaur and listening to it roar the words back at us. It&rsquo;s pretty funny to hear a T-Rex roar, &ldquo;I love you.&rdquo; You can twist the tail to make the head move and jaws close. The teeth are rubber, so no worries about a finger getting hurt. To make it roar, just press the button on the back of the head. If you press and hold the button, you can record a message that will get roared back at you. It makes me think of a baby T-Rex, with the oversized head. The tail makes a good handle for my five-year-old. It&rsquo;s fairly intuitive&mdash;we did read the instructions to figure out the recording feature, but other than that it&rsquo;s very easy to figure out. (And once you read to press and hold, everyone understood it.) At first I was quite impressed with the sound and features for a child. However, as the toy was carried around the house it would just roar randomly, which i attributed to the head bobbing up and down. Not sure this feature can be fixed. He finds it really funny that the dinosaur says the same thing back to him in a growly dinosaur voice. His only complaint is that it can only repeat back small phrases at a time.
