I wasn&rsquo;t sure what the texture of the goo was going to be and the instructions said to rinse off in the sink any residue and honestly it felt like soap. My son runs around with his little dinosaur with the bone in the mouth trying to feed it all that he can. Although you can&rsquo;t keep the sludge and it must be thrown out afterwards. If you continue to try and play with it it turns into a giant mess. And then you have the little box with the small amount of sand to do the mold or you can stick the item in the sand to dig it out. It&rsquo;s not an item I would consider my child playing with again and again. It&rsquo;s kind of just a one time thing then it&rsquo;s over. The child that played with the product was excited to take the dinosaur out of the gel casing. However, the dinosaur was rather difficult to extract from the casing. The gel mostly broke apart when taking the dinosaur out. After removing the dinosaur, the child moved on to taking the bone and sand out. The directions were simple to follow and the child padded the sand into box to make the shape around the bone as depicted in the instructions. It was a fun and interactive experience but felt like a one time experience and not a repeat experience. The directions that come with it are very clear and easy to understand. My son enjoyed getting the dinosaur out of the gel container it comes in. He had fun playing with the dinosaur and pretending to feed it with the little bone. The sand it comes with doesn&rsquo;t stick together very well so it was harder to play with. It was a fight over who got to get the Dino out of the slime and then who got to play with it. If you have multiple kiddos you definitely need to get one for each! My little boy loved the unpacking of the toy and digging the Dino out of the &ldquo;ooze&rdquo;.
