It's light weight, easy to grab/hold on to/pick up and he loves touching it to get the crinkle sound. It also rattles when he swings it around. We only get it out occasionally because it amps her up. She gets excited when she first crinkles the toy but quickly gets overwhelmed and starts shrieking when using this toy. It's a toy that does everything and for our little one, less is more engaging. We have other regular crinkle toys that are better because they are not as overstimulating (ie. they have less surface area of crinkly material, don't have the added bell and tag, etc).
