It is made of what seems to be a heavy duty plastic. It is definitely sturdy. It's not a flimsy toy that is going to break or fall apart when being played with. The legs and arms are movable so it can be posed to do whatever the kids want. The kids have been having a great time using their imagination with him. I didn't read the specs on him so when he arrived I was a little surprised. He was small. He is like a grab bag size. But that being said, my grandson really likes playing with him. Details and construction are very well made. My children have a love for dinosaurs so they very much enjoy adding them into any game they are playing. My youngest son will pick it up and make it roar. Sound isn't required, but a little sound would have made my child play woth it a little bit longer. He does bring it in his room, living room, and even in the bath! He absolutely loves it. The size was smaller than I was expecting, but the chunky body and limbs makes it easy for little hands to grasp and play with. My son creates imaginative scenes with his big dinosaurs eating the baby one minute to taking care of him the next. The details on this figure are &ldquo;lifelike&rdquo; for dinosaurs of this size. I liked that it was see thru and not a mystery. I do not like to get duplicates. My child was excited to open the toy. It was easy to open, I just cut off the top of the package to get the toy out. The dinosaur was blue/green in color. The legs move at the hips and the arms move at the shoulders. The tail and mouth do not move. The eyes are see thru orange. The eyes are awesome because as you move the toy, the eye appear to follow you. The toy is about 2 inches tall. My children like this Fisher Price Jurassic World Baby Giganotosaurus because it is a baby and smaller than the other Imaginext dinosaurs we have. They love to play family with the dinosaurs. Where one child is the mom or dad and the other child is the baby. I like Imaginext toys and the infinite possibilities children can use them in imaginative play. It seems like a great product that is very durable.
