<span itemprop="description">My son received this for Christmas, but we are just opening it for the first time today. We assembled and the internal "rev" mechanism immediately broke upon first use. What a waste of money and I'm not sure where it was purchased as it was a gift.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Loved Criss Cross Crash as a kid. Bought this for my sons to play with them. Just pushing the lever down to launch the cars broke it after about an hour of play, if that. We returned it and got replacement. Put it together, started to play........lever broke almost immediately. Seems like a design flaw. Maybe the old rotating crank would add some longevity to the toy, seeing as you can still find the vintage 1978 cranks on line!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Like everyone else, the handle thing broke immediately. We were putting the track together and my 5-year-old revved it up once, then twice, and then the third time the gears inside stripped or something and it stopped working. Complete garbage.
Worse, I actually contacted Mattel using their form several days ago. Got the "submission received" message and everything, and haven't heard back. I'm going to try to return it to the store.</span>
