This is not mentioned on packaging. States that there is a different car in each individually wrapped package - which to most people would mean there would be a wider variety than simply 10 cars. While these won&rsquo;t find fheir way into too many older HW fans, they are perfect for the not-so-old folks - as are most of, and the goal of HWs - for the kids. Still authentic HWs, just not collector oriented, unless you are looking to add to different color castings from this set. Nope. All the cars are cheap. They remind me of the McDonald&rsquo;s hot wheels cars but worse. Mattel did a good job of not explaining what this was and they got my $13 so good for them but I&rsquo;m not happy. She is a fan of all things Hot Wheels, so these are a great motivator for small chores. Each car comes in an individual package with a gold sticker to place on the chart on the box. I do, however, wish the chart was a separate item, such as a small poster. I didn't really want to keep the box around, but I ended up cutting the back off the box to display the chart and storing the cars in a hidden place in our home. She has never wanted to help out around the house as much. Not only does she love the car, but she loves putting the stickers on. I love that they are a mystery--it adds to the fun! Also, all the cars we opened work great with the tracks we have--none of the cars have had any problems going through the courses my daughter makes.
