The cars worked really well on the track. It didn't require any batteries, that was great! They just loved pushing the lever to make the cars go faster. It came with 3 cars. Assembly was easy, my 9 year old did it mostly by herself. I like that it came with track extenders so you could add more track pieces to make it bigger. The extenders were easy to put on. This track entertained my kids for a long time. At first he was super excited about playing with this track but quickly lost interest. He thought the snap together track was great until it kept popping apart, he says that the track changer should be skinnier to make it easier for the cars to go through. His frustration mounted when he couldn't easily get the race cars moving as intended. He did finally figure it out, but it took a while. The excitement on his face when the cars zoomed around the circuit for the first time was priceless. Assembly was fairly straightforward &mdash; it took me about 20 minutes to put together with minimal frustration. The instructions were clear, though I&rsquo;d recommend an adult handle the smaller pieces. Once assembled, the track feels sturdy enough for rough toddler play, which is always a plus. What I really appreciate is that it encourages hands-on play and imagination. My child loves pretending he&rsquo;s a real race car driver, narrating his own &ldquo;Grand Prix&rdquo; as the cars zip around the track. It&rsquo;s been a fun way to introduce him to basic concepts of motion, turns, and friendly competition. If I had one small complaint, it&rsquo;s that the launcher requires a firm push &mdash; something smaller hands might struggle with at first.
