When you think about an RC car, your mind usually goes to something like the 1:10 scale version. You wouldn't think that something the same size of a normal Hot Wheels car could also be an RC car, but you'd be wrong! It's real and it's fantastic! The normal driving speed is fast enough, but press the Turbo button while you're driving and you'll get upwards of 500 scale miles per hour! Especially useful for pulling off sick jumps off of ramps or hitting loops at full speed. Not only can you blitz around open areas of the floor in your house, garage, or driveway, but with the included adapter, you can transition the Cybertruck from free-driving mode right onto a Hot Wheels tracks to tackle whatever curves, loops, or other fun playsets you've got in its way. This little Cybertruck is not only super fast in a straight line, it also will do more donuts in a few seconds than Homer Simpson could ever dream! Because the controls are that touchy, it might take a youngster some time to familiarize themselves with the controls since it doesn't take much movement on the right control stick to go from simply correcting course to full-on doing donuts in the kitchen. The styling of the Cybertruck model itself is on-point: the angular lines you'd expect, the black retractable bed cover, the iconic full-width horizontal tail lights. The truck charges via a small cable that stashes inside of a compartment in the back of the controller, which itself uses 4 AA batteries. My so. received one complimentary from to try in exchange for our opinion. I was pleasantly surprised with this! I wondered how a tiny car could be remote controlled. Well!! For starters, the car is the same size as any other Hotwheels. You can use it on a plain floor (tile or hard wood works best) or you can also use it on a track. The speed is quick and when you hit the turbo button, it&rsquo;s like lightning speed. The best feature according to this mom....If you&rsquo;re about as frustrated as I am with the chargers and batteries for certain toys, you&rsquo;ll be happy to hear that you only need to put some batteries in the remote controller and then you can CHARGE THE CAR DIRECTLY WITH THE CONTROLLER. I felt I needed to emphasize that point. The charger cable is stored inside a little compartment in the controller. There are no Additional wires or batteries needed. You don&rsquo;t need a power outlet. We can charge it on the go and when it&rsquo;s not charging, the cord simply gets placed inside that little compartment. I would not have designed this any differently. My son loves that he can use it with or without tracks and it doesn&rsquo;t take long at all to charge. It&rsquo;s about 20 minutes. We have had it for a couple weeks and it&rsquo;s still running on the same batteries.
