Like the video game, each kart features a logo that coordinates with its driver: Yoshi's Egg; a Princess crown; a Super Star for Mario (which usually is the iconic &quot;M&quot;, but the Super Star works here, too); and a Shy-Guy mask. All four karts are straight out of the game, so it's fun to see a real-world representation of the video-game counterparts. The karts themselves are 1:64 scale Hot Wheels, so they will work on regular Hot Wheels track (the OG orange track); however, since the drivers generally make them taller than normal Hot Wheels cars, there might be height-clearance issues with some playsets (e.g. the spiral ramp of the Super Ultimate Garage). And they do work well on track -- very fast because of the additional weight of the drivers. They feature nice wheels with good rolling resistance. We set up the tracks several different ways to race our Mario Karts. It entertained all of us, kids and kids at heart alike. When we were done with our races, the little ones took over with imaginative quiet play.
