They enjoyed playing with them and crashing them into things. The toy cars were durable and with standed their rough use of them. They also made note of the detail of cars. My son almost didnt want to open them because of the setup. Once he did he played for hours. After hours of running each car down countless feet of orange track and wall sets, my son came to the conclusion that this is a great set to play with, but an even better set to get kids interested in collecting. The cars run the track at an average speed, but the paint and package are where this set shines. The color choices along with the display style packaging make this group of cars fun to look at. His only complaint was that there were no opening doors or hoods, and the surfboards on the Deora II were not removable.
