As a Dad I can appreciate the amount of thought that the kids need to put the cars together, and fine motor control to get them assembled fast. Also the hot wheels game was missing some key pieces to play with it to its fullest extent. It does not take up a lot of space. It&rsquo;s easy to put together and only takes a few minutes. It comes apart easily for an easy clean up. There are three different cars to build. The way the cars go together you can make it a game of different stages as your child gets older and gets the hang of building them. When you are done building your car you hit the tire in the middle and the other players cars blast into the air. It&rsquo;s fun and exciting. The main stand was easy to set up and only took seconds. The instructions for how to make the cars are on the main instruction sheet, but they are small and hard to see. There is a bigger picture of how to assemble on the box, but it's not broken up into steps, so again it is difficult to follow along, especially if 3 players were trying to look at it at once. When put together, the car has nice detail and the parts fit together well. The button in the middle is easy to push, and the car that was made first will stay built, but the others will burst off. Unfortunately they don't fly up as high as expected. My son had fun putting just the bases on and pushing the button to see how high they would go. Lastly, there is a peg on the cars so you can't drive them around after they are built. It would have been fun if you could, but I get that the peg is necessary. Both my 4 and 6 year old enjoyed playing. They liked racing to see who could build the car first. We have played this several times and have enjoyed it each time. Sadly when my sons sat down to play the game and realized that they didn&rsquo;t have all the pieces to play. The blue Riprod car was missing the piece that attaches to the battery and had an extra battery piece added so it was impossible to build. It caused a bit of a meltdown till we realized what was wrong. The pieces are small and hard to handle at first, definitely need a parent to help with instructions. Once he got the hang of it however he has been playing ever since.
