If you are a fan of Mario Kart or a fan of hot wheels, you will love these for sure! The details on the characters and karts are very nice and accurate to the games looks and designs and the paint jobs are great as well. My kids and I tried the cars on various surfaces but also tried on the Mario Kart Rainbow Road hot wheels track and they are so much fun to play with. We enjoyed playing with them and envisioning actual Mario Kart races, however my only complaint would be that I wish that they were a little more special and maybe had some sort of gimmick that allowed them to feel more game like, with maybe a shell launcher or even sounds or something. Sure, that would increase the price, but it would add to the enjoyment of the car and play overall. They loved the different characters (Dry Bones, Bowser, Shy Guy, and Koopa Troopa) and that each had a unique kart to drive. Dry Bones and Bowser&rsquo;s karts are booth standard carts, but they are different colors. Shy Guy is in a B-Dasher and Koopa is in a Mach 8. My kids have been racing them all over the house. On Hot Wheels tracks and on race tracks that they&rsquo;ve crafted out of paper and blocks to resemble various Mario Kart tracks. All of the karts race across smooth surfaces well, though not always in a straight line unless guided by the sides of the tracks. They have held up to hours of vigorous play with my four kids. Dry Bones&rsquo; body did become detached from his seat and legs at one point, but it is easy to stick it back on and we plan to use a little glue to better secure the parts together. They really look like the villains from Mario Kart. They are tiny in size but they make up for it in design and speed. They move pretty fast and are easy to carry. My daughter was able to sneak one out of the house without me noticing which is pretty surprising. My son was excited to see the &quot;real life&quot; Mario Kart cars and began racing around the floor before I could even get them all out of the packaging. The best part for our family with these cars is they are compatible with all of our other Hot Wheels tracks and toys for the most part. Bowser (he is pretty tall)did have a little trouble going through our Hot Wheels car wash, but other then that all the cars worked on our Hot Wheels parking garage, and car wash.
