They are made with attention to detail. The squish to them makes great fun for my little boys. The sound it makes has them laughing. The feeling of it helps with sensory. The look of them gives the superhero fun that my boys go crazy for. And as a Batman and joker fan myself, this was a must buy! And I guess I got these at the right time, Because I only paid $13 for them when they retail for $25. Of all the Goo Jit Zia we&rsquo;ve bought, these are among my favorites. Recently, they have started making these with accessories, instead of paint, which I prefer. Literally, the painted ones don&rsquo;t last a day before they start peeling. I think they're a bit strange, so it makes sense, hahaha! They've held up better than expected and don't pick up as much dirt and pet hair as I thought they would. Impressed with the overall durability, although we have lost some paint. They recognize the characters and love role-playing with them. They also love throwing them because they are bouncy and stretchy. They have a water-bead-like filling that is fun to feel and squeeze, and extremely stretchy arms and legs that can be pulled pretty long. There are a few things that need to be improved: 1. They are very top heavy. If a toy has legs, it's really disappointing if it can't stand up. And these can't at all, ever. 2. The smell of them is atrocious. I don't know what the goo is made of, but the need to tweak the formula so that they don't smell so nasty. 3. Leakage. I've had a few of these and after a certain amount of pulling and jostling, they've sprung a leak at a seam. Not only do they stretch (and they are VERY durable) but they also have a fun surprise inside when you stretch them. Snowballs, lightning bolts ect. He loves them.
