This playset includes two colorful Hatchimals eggs(blue and pink) with two adorable characters, a sippy cup, two pacifiers(too tiny and hard to place so a little help was needed) and a rainbow cloud themed highchair.&nbsp; You can purchase additional sets like the &quot;Hatch N Stroll Playset&quot; and the &quot;Hatchi-Nursery Playset&quot; to expand the fun and pretend play.&nbsp; Some helping hands were required to remove the tiny pacifiers from the egg to access the hole and to fill the bottle with water.&nbsp; My Niece then independently squeezed the water into the egg as we all watched in excitement as it started to crack in seconds to unveil our two beautiful characters &nbsp; After that we just wanted to add more water to see if it'll crack even more but sadly no &nbsp; I can tell you our two little friends were thoroughly cleaned as they were submerged in a bowl of water and squirted with water(with baby bottle) in their highchair &nbsp;&nbsp; You'll be happy to know the broken plastic shell bits(soft not sharp) didn't go to waste either it was used to create steps and eventually confetti in the water lol.&nbsp; Hopefully she'll do some actual pretend play(by far her favourite thing to do) as our characters start out with bottle feeds and eventually grow to use the cute food/snack pull out tray &nbsp; To improve this toy I would recommend storing additional surprise accessories within the bottom portion of the egg so more water fun to fully crack it open.&nbsp; Lastly the pacifiers are too tiny for small hands to work with and i can see it getting lost pretty easily.&nbsp; Possibly making it slightly bigger would be workable and a strap or storage accessory to keep them from getting misplaced. My 5yo and 3yo girls were so excited to play. This is their first hatchimal experience. Super neat how you add water to the bottle and use it to hatch the eggs. Unfortunately only one hatching per egg and you can't reverse it to repeat the hatching experience. The mechanism for hatching was pretty cool, the water would expand a sponge at the bottom of the egg that pushes the platform of the hatchimal up to expose the hatchimal under the broken shell. The shell breaks off pretty clean and only in a few pieces so not too messy. The rest of the egg is kind of useless but can keep it for extended play. Fortunately there are 2 eggs and so my girls each had one to hatch! But also unfortunate that it comes with only one bottle which they had to share. The bright colours, the size of the toy etc perfect for little hands. It also came with a double seated high chair which added to the imaginary play. They were occupied with it for at least a good 30 mins. Definitely meant for children 3+ at least as there are many small parts. Overall a positive experience with the toy and am considering to purchase for a gift for upcoming birthdays! I think this would work as a great starter playset to gauge your child's interest before buying larger Hatchimals sets. My child did ask for more eggs to hatch afterwards, and I think it would be better if there was a way to re-use the eggs somehow, as it tends to have a lot of plastic waste for 15 seconds of watching the egg hatch.
