Easy enough to put together if you follow the instructions carefully. Very sturdy. I ordered the winter oak and it's a beautiful addition to my bedroom. Packed very securely during shipping so there were no damaged pieces. To my disappointment, there were many minor damages right out of the box, as the product is very heavy and difficult to pull out, we had to cut the cartoon in order to take out everything, after a quick discussion we knew we had no option but had to assemble it. It very sad that all the damages happened to be at the front which is very obvious.
