My kids play with it every single day. They love serving the popcorn and popping it in the machine. The quality is great, too. I only wish more pieces were made of wood. Melissa and Doug is notorious for having wooden sets, and I was surprised at how many pieces of this were made of plastic. The outer part of the stand is made of wood, but the rest is plastic. They love using their imagination through pretend play and taking turns being the customer! The set includes play cash, popcorn scooper, popcorn containers, pretend popcorn, and a popcorn maker. Once you put the 'seeds' in the popcorn maker, it produces these large pieces of popcorn that will make a popping sound once you turn the knob on the side. This of course, is my kids favorite part! On the back side of the popcorn maker is a pump to pump your butter! My 7 year old son took a good 20 minutes explaining to my daughters how the gadget worked and exactly what they needed to know about everything! They've really enjoyed playing together and I love the fact that it's a hands on toy! No batteries! No electronics!
