More importantly my grandson loved this train. The sounds were clear, and child like which grabs a child's attention. The &quot;Manners&quot; used were suttle, but consistent. Like all Little People toys, this was is very well constructed, and has survived several &quot;train wrecks&quot;. I appreciate that there are no sharp edges, and easy for small hands to manipulate without getting frustrated. I was so impressed I purchased another one for my preschool class. I have a several children who are no english speaking, and this is a wonderful way to help with learning English but also learning about manners. He loves to open the doors and load his Little People inside. He also loves the light on the front. I love how the conductor teaches manners through words and songs. He loves the lights and songs/sayings. They are easy for him to push and activate. It's the perfect size for little ones. The children especially loved the lights and sounds and enjoyed putting passengers on and off the train. It held their interest for quite a while. Would definitely purchase again for a toddler gift. Overall, this is a great little toy. The quality is high and it has great features- (lights, music, opening windows and doors).
