My sons face lit up when Batman popped through and he was so excited to dig for his vehicle. He knew just what to do from the commercials rip and slam! We were excited to try the new slammers but our 6 year old was very disappointed. The figure is ok but lacks the detail seen in a lot of other imaginext figures. The vehicle reminded me of something we get out of a happy meal. I personally found the element of surprise a little anti-climax but I don&rsquo;t know if that&rsquo;s because my daughter decided to do this in slow motion. Saying that my daughter was very happy when batman came out. The part that pushes down to reveal the surprise is part of batmans car, this part is the only bit you need to attach but I have found it doesn&rsquo;t attach snugly and therefor keeps falling out. However, this doesn&rsquo;t effect the use and after a while she gave up putting it back in. He opened the packaging (very easily) by himself and didn&rsquo;t need any adult help in doing so. The plastic, durable car part of the toy is strong and durable and withstand the power of a toddler throwing it across the room! The car moves easily on carpet and on a tiled floor. The limbs on the small figure all move and the figure can stand up and sit down. My son enjoyed taking the figure in and out of the car as well as using the car to move around his other toys.
