The RC vehicle was easily controlled by my son and he was able to steer it around the kitchen, hallway, and dining room without hitting any walls. This RC vehicle works better on hardwood floors than on carpet. It is much slower on carpet. It's a pretty decent remote control car, and very affordable. He really enjoys playing with it. It does come with batteries. It's a is fast and furious, but easy for him to control. However, it is great for my 3 year to play with. It goes fast but is easy to control for little hands. I do not expect it to last more than a year, but for the price, I think it is definitely worth it since it will provide a lot of fun and entertainment. My son absolutely loves cars and he was so excited to have his own fancy red sports car to play with. My nine year old son loves it and my household loves fast and the furious. I have played with this rc car for hours on end. It is fast, easy to operate, &amp; super cute. It looks just like the real Lycan car. It is very well made; I&rsquo;ve ran it into a couple of walls and table chairs and it has not broken. The control is simple enough that I think it would be easy for a younger child as well. The colors are great, it's heavy enough to feel solid but not cumbersome.
