The seat seats comfortable and was easy to adjust. My daughter is small so I do not worry about her growing out of this any time soon (13 months and 19lbs). The knobs to tighten the straps are a little difficult to use RR as the seat is on the far right, however I don't think I would have an issue if it was in the center. Not a good idea. Seat seems comfortable, nicely padded. The car seat is so big, and bulky that I have to move my passenger seat all the way to the front just for it to fit in the back seat. The base is attached to the seat and does not detach and needs to be hard wired/anchored everytime you take the car seat in and out of the vehicle. The straps leave you very little room to maneuver the seat when installing it, I have to crawl into the back seat of the car and push on it with my body weight just to clip it to the anchors. When the baby is sleeping you have to take him out of the car seat when you get home or take the entire car seat out of the vehicle only to have to spend 15 minutes installing it again next time you go out. A real pain in the butt! The other thing is that to tighten the seat belt for baby you have to turn these handles that make really loud clicking sounds and startles the baby with each click. if you need three car seats or a couple of boosters in addition to this car seat you will not be able to fit all of them in it is way to large. The car seat also does not have a handle to carry it. I honestly was very disappointed. Toys R Us will not return the seat as I used it for a few days before I realized what a mistake buying this car seat was. Maybe better for a toddler that can get in and out of the seat by themselves. It did, however, look very bulky. Upon installing it, I was definitely having difficulties getting it just right. I love the fact that I can extend rear facing in this seat, as anything to keep my kid safer, is a huge plus in my book. I really love the idea of the no re thread straps, as it makes life so much easier. I also love the idea of the knob to tighten rather than pulling a strap. However, when the seat is rear facing, the knob is so tight up against the seat that it makes it near impossible to tighten.
