The hair is incredibly soft, doesn't tangle easily. I love how the arms and legs move independently, the toy even sits down! I think that's cool for independent play with kids. I played with it inside and it was a lot of fun pretending to move his hair in different directions. Then she discovered you can take his clothes off. We had to add a few more trolls so Branch could have his buddies. I love the purple hair and that the hair doesn&rsquo;t shed. My five-year-old son has had a good time using Branch in his imaginative play. His favorite part is that he can take off and then put back on his clothes. For some reason he thinks that&rsquo;s really funny! The troll toy seems to be a very good quality, and even after much play, no hair has fallen out. This also includes being brushed several times. I do wish that the Branch toy were a little bit larger, but my son does not seem to care about that. It was perfect for teaching my son how to brush his own hair! He also enjoyed that he could dress the Troll himself like he does every morning!
