<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children are obsessed with this toy! Ariel is extremely well made (my daughter loves that Ariel looks like her!). The doll sings when you press the shell button at her waist. The song is extremely clear and sounds great. The bottom piece of the tail gets snapped on easily once you open the box. My kids have not managed to pull it off yet! Ariel is the size of a normal Barbie and fits right in!
If your kids love the little mermaid, mermaids in general or Barbies then this doll is for you!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a high quality toy. Not the cheap plastic most dolls are made of these days. It feels durable.
The speaker inside this thing is insane! So clear and very loud (this could be a plus or a minus depending on how much you love hearing "Part of that World" on repeat.)
The likeness to the actor is quite good, and the hair is styled true to the character as well. Bonus is that the partially braided hairstyle actually prevents it from getting tangled, so it's not a complete gordian knot after a couple weeks of play.
One minor quibble is that the tail fin detaches and can come off relatively easily. But it's a sizeable enough piece that it should not be a high risk of getting lost.
Overall I am very impressed with this toy. And more importantly, my daughter loves it :)</span>

The only issue we have had is just the packaging. It was so hard to open and remove the plastic tab. Once we removed the plastic tab, Ariel was able to sing!</span>

Then to have a doll with black skin & almond eyes! Omg! It feels great to have not just a doll, not just a Disney character but one of the iconic Disney princesses represent who we are! Black girl magic! We love everything about this doll. Her loc tresses her beautiful blue outfit and then we’re able to press it and hear Halle’s angelic voice! I need to grab another just to collect!</span>

The details of her hair (complete with braids) and sparkly tail are amazing! While I think my daughter would enjoy it more if the fin actually flipped/flapped, she loves that she “sings”her favorite song from the movie.</span>
