The vehicles are approximately 6 inches long with fold out landing gear! The figures are approximately 1.5 inches tall with movable joints to let them to sit in the cockpit. The series includes vehicles and figures of both heroes and foes, for recreating Lightyear storylines and simulating exciting battle play! The vehicles include movie-accurate decoration and detail. If he had any small complaints they would be that the missiles do not launch and that the missle attachments flex. He would prefer then to be solid if they are not "shootable". Additionally, it should be known that despite the fact that we have not lost the tiny Buzz yet, I could see that being very likely.</span>

The age range I believe said 3+. I was honestly expecting it to be larger. The plane is an okay size but Buzz Lightyear is tiny. I really think the age range should be higher than 3+. I know plenty of 3 year olds who still put things in their mouths and this Buzz could definitely be put in a mouth and tried to be swallowed. My little guy also keeps pulling off the shield that holds Buzz into the plane. I think this would be a great toy but for an older child. I have to watch mine every time he plays with it, if he has Buzz.</span>

It's lightweight and easy to hold and since it has a more realistic look older kids will like it too. The only drawback is that the Buzz spaceman is so small he might easily get lost.</span>
