The stairs never opened the full way so the lights and sounds would not activate. I took the bottom off and observed the mechanics and found that it was getting jammed on the motherboard inside preventing it from opening the steps. Obviously nothing I can do now without risking breaking it. Too bad we threw all the packaging away. Such a bummer, and this was her Covid birthday too so even more of a bummer. I was so excited to see a new castle but then noticed it&rsquo;s just a reiteration of the first one. Would have liked a sound bit from Frozen 2! Anyways, such a disappointment. My daughter only gets to play with the full functionality at her cousins house and unfortunately ours doesn&rsquo;t get played with. I feel bad trying to sell it because it&rsquo;s kind of a rip off. She loves anything to do wirh princesses and loves olaf sonthis was perfect. She enjoyed putting olaf to bed and letting elsa climb the steps and going down the slide, she says that its olafs playground. Its very well made and the size is great and attractive to the eye. She is learning the song and so am i. When Olaf is put on the pedestal, the lights twinkle as music plays. When Elsa is put on the pedestal she sings the &ldquo;Let it go&rdquo; chorus. The palace can ascend upwards, by approximate 6cm at the push of a large button, revealing yet more ice formations whilst the ice star then spins round. Once this has been done continued pushing of the same button speedily rotates the star. The steps are translucent and when revealed lets the light shine through, giving a magical glow. These steps lead to the balcony where the supplied Elsa and Olaf figurines can survey the land. At the other end of the balcony is a slide down to the ground which Olaf and Elsa love to use. Looking into the palace from the rear, there are icicles and a fold down bed. This is in addition to another moveable bed and ice throne. The Elsa and Olaf figurines are perfect for little hands. My 2 year old daughter has had hours of fun playing with it. This toy is sturdy and robust enough to withstand an adventurous 2 year old. It has lots of exciting features, it grows, lights up and plays let it go. We were still discovering features days later which only added to the interest and excitement. I've noticed my daughter become much more interested in the movie since getting this toy, and have watched as her imaginative play has developed. The figures are also big enough for my 8 month old to join in the fun and play along. They are both Frozen fans, especially Olaf fans. They love the music and lights on this toy. Everything is sturdy, they dropped it on floor many times and its still intact. Only negative i would say is Anna doll missing and maybe added Swen and Christof.
