Plays music and lights up. The only con I would say is the volume, I wish there was a way to adjust it, considering it's a handheld toy. She absolutely loves it. She rarely put it down the whole time I was there. The caveat? It&rsquo;s the SAME song being played over &amp; over. Everyone in that house knows the lyrics to &ldquo;I&rsquo;m Grateful&rdquo; backwards. She pretty much just looped it. It will only play one song, which is pretty disappointing. The song plays over and over. It could at least have kids be able to speak into it like a regular microphone. It's cute, colorful and seems sturdy enough. It only plays one song, however, which is a little annoying to me but he doesn't seem to mind. There is also no volume control. It doesn't actually amplify your child's voice if they sing into it, either. You can connect it to a phone or other device to play music, I guess but we have not tried that because it doesn't come with a cord.
