He likes that he can raise/lower the bucket or arm with the levers. The flashing lights, engine and hydraulic sounds are nice and make for a more realistic play. When he pushes the excavator the tracks really move to make playing with it easier. We have some similar toys to this bit they don&rsquo;t make sounds. My daughter is autistic and really likes for there to be noise during play. The bright yellow color is fun and similar to what you&rsquo;d find in real like. Extra care was taken into the details. The rubberized piece over the wheels do make it hard to push along floor though. When you raise up the arm it makes a separate sound to the motor running Sound triggered when you press the on button. When you pull in reverse it makes the beeping sound. A very fun toy with lots of playtime. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the sound on it is pretty loud and it can't be turned off or stopped and it lasts for what seems like an eternity (but is probably close to like 20 seconds). It is still such an amazing fun toy to play with indoors or outdoors. This great Cat Power Haulers excavator you take control! Push the toy forward and listen to the motor, my son loves it and makes imaginary play more fun. Sounds and flashing lights make it even more fun. My son has so much fun playing for hours and best part it comes with batteries needed!! I was a little concerned at first as it doesn't really seem like an outside or sandbox type toy given it is plastic and has the electronic sounds. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it holds up. No noticeable issues at all and he has been using it almost daily.
