You can drive it around from place to place but also open it up for even more imaginative play. The carriage is made very well and will likely last a long time unlike most toys these days. My niece love these Calico Critters she combined this with her other set and has lots of fun playing with them. The carriage is very colorful and the set itself is very detailed. The wheels turn and the clothes can be removed. There are so many things you can do with it! You can put the little crown on top of the carriage or on the bunny, you can open the carriage door, and you can open up the carriage to a play set. It really rolls and can go a very far distance even on the carpet. The carriage even has a spot where you can attach it to something else. This set comes with one rabbit that can sit in the carriage or lay down on the little couch. The vanity is also fun because you can turn it and see two images. When it is all closed up it looks like carriage to bring the little bunny to a fancy ball, but when it opens up, it's a dressing room with a fancy chair and a vanity. Perfect for pretend play! She even has a fancy sparkly party dress that can be removed! Such a great toy that when it opens it turns into a little dressing room/ house area. She likes to have all the calicos critters come to the arrival of princess Grace and then there's a celebration party. I love the details in the accessories and the velvety feel of Grace. It really is built for royalty. My daughters love this carriage play set. Would be cool, their words not mine, if the set came with something to pull the carriage. Although Calico ponys would be too small but they probably imagine an abnormally large Calico pony to pull this bad boy along. Anyway, the princess is included and you have the option to crown her when ready. The mirror flips revealing normal Calico while the other side displays her highness herself. The passenger door opens and closes on one side while the whole other side opens creating a makeshift stage. This set is a top 5 of my girls and rightfully so. Everyone loves a rags to riches story and this carriage set plays along those lines.
