The body is nice and soft, while the head is firmer making it easy to wipe down when it gets messy. I've also stuck it in the washer, and air dried when it was extra dirty. My son loves playing with the cute kitty doll, and it's small enough to take on the go. The &quot;tattoo&quot; on the bottom of the signature of the creator and the smell of baby powder that the doll had. I could still smell her 20 years later and she still smelt of the baby powder. When I got this for our daughter I was still impressed. Their designs are unique and adorable. This doll in particular also smelled of baby powder and made it a nostalgic moment.
