Its a great little toy, compact to travel with too. They enjoyed the features on it and the animals are cute. The controls were easy for small hands and my adult hands were a bit heavy handed. There's 15 animals to collect and my daughter has collected them all within about 2 hours of play. The animals will send a message when they have a need which you need to respond too and if ignored they go away, but unlike the tamagotchi there doesn't seem to be a consequence to ignoring them as you can quickly get them back by giving a treat. Each animal has a small game some better than others so it kept her entertained for a while. Once you've collected them there seems to be not alot else to do you can pick up and put down for some quick play. Seems a lot of potential but I can see this not lasting for a long time of play. She enjoys it for now which is the main thing and it's as close as a bunny as she'll get for now. She also liked the chameleon and unicorn. My only improvement would be to make the characters slightly harder to obtain or have consequences for not looking after them so they have a reason to keep going back semi regularly to play. My 10 years old daughter was super excited when I told her she was getting it. It's quite easy to use. I didn't need to help setting it up or using it. She had a lot of fun growing, petting, feeding and playing with all the pets. I have to admit I was petting them as well. I loved their reaction and the sounds they've been making. My daughter spent much less time on her phone as she enjoyed these digital pets that much. She would take the toy to her bed and play with it before bedtime and first thing in the morning. It's a great virtual toy. It's really enjoyable to be able not only to see ir but also to touch it. The reason why I rate this toy 4 stars is because it took my daughter a week to grow all the pets. After that she lost all the interest in it. She tried to play the games but it wasn't that fun anymore. It's great to be able to pick a pet and look after them, care for them and play with them, you can even pet them which makes them so much better than the tamogotchi where you just look at a screen, my daughter loves you can unlock outfits for them. It comes in a lovely little case which can be taken on the go with you. It has kept my 9 year old and 7 year old entertained.
