It does say it's for older kids so not a knock on the product, just something to be aware of if you're looking for a more advanced, but younger kid. I think in a couple years, he's going to love it!</span>

The instructions were a bit confusing to set it up, even looking on YouTube wasn't help much either. It is made of plastic and is very flimsy, It is not well made. The Beyblades weren't too hard to assemble but at times felt like they were going to fall apart. Overall it was fun to play with. Not well made and the instructions were very confusing.</span>

It took us 15-20 minutes to get the play area set up and the pieces all together to play. Both my kids are slightly younger than the recommended age but were excited to see and try them out. With some practice they will have it down and I anticipate getting a lot of entertainment out of this toy. I appreciate that the arena has side walls and a bit of an overhang at the top as I anticipate these will keep the blades inside the arena and make things a little safer.</span>
