I made his Christmas this year with this Beyblade, his smile, hugs and appreciation said it all... him and another nephew of the same age played and played... and played, forgetting about devices for some time, which is always a plus. He was very excited when he opened them. This set comes with the stadium, 2 tops and lauchers. It seems very easy for him to use, but it lost its appeal quickly. This set was a perfect Christmas present for the 3 of them. It came with 2 Beyblades, 2 ejectors that were slightly different than ones that they have had in previous sets, and one battle arena. The battle arena has a translucent top and keeps the Beyblades that bust from coming out of the arena and hitting someone. It was very easy to put together. It only needed the plastic pieces it came with out in the four corners. The ejectors were easier for my 5 year old to hold on to and pull during a battle. I was a little confused about the assembly at first. It has extra picture parts on the box that do not come with the set. The LW04 and LW05 do not come with the Beyblades in general, according to what I found out online. I had to look for an assembly video to construct the Beyblades. Do be aware they do encourage some serious hand-eye coordination. The micro stickers for Beyblade accents will challenge your skills. It can be a little dangerous when getting used to how to launch the Beyblades. Some of my earlier attempts sprang past the arena and onto the floor directed at a kid. Everyone was okay luckily. They are kind of heavier metal at that speed, so they could do some damage. A also never seen them burst. We've played about a hundred rounds and that has never happened, so I guess when they do it will be extra special. They have to burst to get the maximum three points. Another thing I noticed is that they stop at about the same time on every launch. It sounds weird, but it is what it is. The kids don't seem to mind. It helps keep them busy. It's a great toy for competitive kids. They can also have a match to decide an outcome for a decision. An example: whoever wins gets to have the last piece of pizza. It is fun to launch them and watch them spin wildly around while lunging into each other. They are an exciting action toy. The two Beyblades do seem well-matched in this battle. It came with Sword Valtryek and Wizard Fafnir. I like that you can see on the box the stats of each Beyblade, so you know its strengths and weaknesses. They seem pretty accurate too. Sword Valtryek has a full-scale attack range and it is the one that keeps slamming into Wizard Fafnir. Wizard Fafnir seems to stay pretty still in its spin with its high-ranking stamina. It has the stamina to take the hits, but these two still seem to end at about the same time.
