It looks not too huge, which I was wondering about. Dolls can be sited on the chairs, which works really well with Made to Move dolls. Cups and spoons are a little bit to big for a regular sized doll, but desserts and pillows work great. Chairs are really sturdy. And almost all the pieces are made of nice and sturdy plastic, except table legs strangely. They are a little bit wobbly even after you put the center piece in. But all in all it's a nice doll tea time table! I was super shocked to see this myself and couldn't wait to get it for my daughter. Assembly was effortless. Very sturdy for younger kids to pay with. My First Barbies fit so nicely on the chairs. Most accessories &quot;click&quot; into slots on the table top so they don't get lost or fall off. Which is super nice for the younger kids. The amount of accessories that come with this set is outstanding. I myself have been collecting Barbie since I was a toddler, and I just love playing with this set with my 2 year old. She is in love with it. The amount of different ways to play with this set and use your imagination are endless. The brightly colored chairs are durable and will hold a regular Barbie or a My First Barbie. The tea cart/table is easy to convert back and forth. My nieces are 3 and 5, and this is going to be a birthday gift for the 3 year old. While my older niece is so gentle and careful she whispers when she's talking to our pets, her younger sister is way more rambunctious. There is not a toy this girl owns who hasn't been to the Dolly Urgent Care once or twice, she is row~dy. The appeal of this set, to me, was that it has colorful accessories my younger niece can use to start a more narrative phase of playing and development, and so she doesn't get jealous of big sister's more complicated dolls and toys that tend to come with more interesting parts. On opening the box, this is definitely something that will need an adult assist to put together for really little ones. Things do snap together in a breeze and they're simple enough that the whole thing can be set up in a few minutes, but a four or five year old might get frustrated if they're insisting on doing it by themselves. I would have liked the whole set to be a little more cohesive from a color standpoint, but I totally get the appeal for this age. The style of the furniture though? So cute! I love the way the bear faces are just above the height of the table so they peep over the edge. The plastic is fairly strong; while I do have some concerns about legs snapping off, I don't think that's too much of a worry for kids who are a little less wild than my niece. The genius of this set is that the bases of the teacups and teapot can be inset into the tabletop so they don't go anywhere. I wish I'd had this when I was losing the apples and ice cream out of my Barbie fridge! Because the table has wheels, I know Barb and Co are going to be using this as a vehicle as some point, so the idea that everything won't go flying off to be stepped on or vacuumed up is a huge win. My criticisms are that this feature doesn't apply to everything on the table (I know my brother is going to be finding mini silverware in the vents in ten years,) and that the modularity of the table itself (the sides fold down, which is SO cute) does have a bit of a pinching hazard I'm a little worried about with little hands. The loops on the silverware are a great idea for the larger scale My First Barbies, and I love that it's gearing Barbie up for more active play and interactable accessories. The desserts are a little simplistic and not super amazing looking, but there was definitely thought put into them and the sparkly, glittery touches are very sweet.
