She was excited because it had school stuff in it. After looking at them there was plenty of details on the toy pieces. My daughter loved the new collection to her Barbie toys and since has played with them. Over all the quality is good on them and the interest in playing with the new pieces is high. Absolutely adorable. My girls always love new pets for their Barbies. I haven't really seen the new &quot;My first Barbie&quot; dolls yet, so I didn't realize how large these would be, but they do seem to fit the &quot;curvy&quot; (plus size? I don't remember what the different body types of Barbies are called) which surprised me.
